While I'm sure that I'm going to absolutely love this (as I'm a huge fan of the original 60's and later 80's Gigantors), I gotta admit that having the art style resemble the older shows is really appealing. I've seen some of the Tetsujin 28-inspired spin-offs like Giant Robo that were frankly disappointing because they just couldn't capture what made Gigantor so endearing. I hope this one manages that, though, because just looking at it makes me nostalgic.

I would also like to mirror earlier sentiments that it would be awesome if somebody could find the 1980's series. I've only ever been able to watch that on TV, back when the Sci-Fi channel first came out and it was on at 5 AM.. and I'd love to be able to see the full thing, at long last.

Well, ARR just released the first episode, but it will likely remain as an one-off.

Uhhh...there are no subtitles? There's an option for English in the media player and also through the Haali Media Splitter tray icon, but having it selected doesn't seem to display any subtitles. What's gives?
