Thanks Duki.  I'll play around a bit with text and box colours a bit, to try and improve it.
Unfortunately, this image was the largest I've been able to find, and is just a bit shy of 940 px.  In fact, it was this image that inspired me to try the new layout for a change.   I'm not sure where all you folks find such great, large sized images for these offers  :-D
I'll check the wiki for some tips on how to reduce filesize of the image.
Appreciate the feedback, although I expect I will not get to much of it until after the holidays, as I'll be offline for most of it.

ON an unrelated note, nice to see some interest in this torrent     THanks all!

Lol what tips and tricks - just resize the image using some image editing software - and convert to jpeg while reducing quality until it fits in 150kb...
And sure take your time - see you after the holidays...
Have fun....

Yeah.... coulda swore I saw some in there at some point....;  Maybe it was in the forums?
At any rate, the image was already a jpg, and I have now compressed it to 129kB; hopefully the quality loss is negligible.
Will play a bit with opacity and box colours after the break.
Merry Christmas to All

The audio for the majority of the episodes is defunct. The audio in ep 1 is fine but ep 2 and on have muted and glitchy sounding audio. Was this fixed?

I am watching on the CCCP modified MPC Homecinema. Eps. 2 and 15-19 have glitched audio. Can someone explain why this is occurring and how to fix it?

A brief review of Ideon, both the series and the movies, in two parts.

If by the 'OVA's' you mean the two movies that respectively recapped and then wrapped up the series, then those are actually contained in this torrent.
Take a peek at the filelist or the description, and see if these are what you are looking for.
If there are some other OVAs out there, then I'd love to know about them.

FYI, Mods have recently requested that i split this torrent up, and separate the movies into unique torrents.
THese are presently on the offers queue.
Once they are approved I will plan to post the links to the Movie torrents on this page, and will be requesting a swap.
I though this might be useful info to those who are in mid-download, or planning to start soon.

Thanks, but just a question: will I lose much with watching only the 2 movies? I know that the 1st movie is a recap of the series...

Well, If you are the type of person who reads the 'Cliff's Notes' rather than the classic, you should be just fine.   ;-)
The Ideon: A Contact condenses roughly 32 episodes which conservatively ran at 22 minues each.  That's close to 11.5 hours.
The Movie is 1 hour 24 minutes, with credits.  That's just barely 2 minutes per adapted episode, on average.
You'll be missing some major sub-plots, and certain other more nuanced aspects of the story.
All that said, it is perfectly possible to enjoy the two movies as a standalone experience.
What I definitely would NOT recommend is watching the series without watching the final movie!

Thanks for the explanation! I am just short of download quota, otherwise I would download the series right away.  ;)

Quick question. I read that you split the torrents up into the series/OVAs. Why does my user screen make it appear that the original torrent never existed? I had a pretty nice ratio on it, but now I've lost that.

This is might be a question better answered by a mod, but I'll share what I know, in hopes that you will find it enlightening.
So far as I understand, every time a torrent is swapped, it disappears from the tracker and user screen and is replaced by the new one.
This is true whether it was a simple correciton of a typo in a filename, or a complete revamping of the torrent.
When this happens, that torrent's ratio restarts at zero, since it is in effect a new torrent.
So yep, the torrent is gone, and your previous ratio as well, as is mine (which was not too shabby, btw).
It has been replaced by three shiny new torrents, with fresh ratio data.
However, you still get 'credit' for whatever you uploaded in the global BBT upload and ratio data.
So it's not totally gone in the sense that you never seeded it at all; it is just not listed separately anymore.
Hopefully this is some comfort, as it is your overall ratio which really bears any significant meaning under BBT policies.
Now, as to why the site/tracker handles things this way, I can only suggest you ask someone in management.   :-/
