^ The mark hasn't always been around, and some people don't always click the "multiaudio" box when uploading. But yeah, the KAA group name should be enough to know that this isn't dual-audio.
"R2 DVD" in anime source terms usually refers to the Japanese DVDs, which don't have English audio. As opposed to R1 (USA/Canada) DVDs, which generally do have English & Japanese audio. Dual-audio for this series can be found here from zx if you want it.

I've watched this release & this is the best one to date (audio & video quality). Well KAA is well known for their highquality release. Japanese audio with english subtitle(vobsub) only.

Now I'm not complaining by any means, however, is it just my player, or does the subbing overlap to a near incomprehensible level, like when someone is singing, or when two people talk at the same time?

What OS/media player are you using? I have that problem with VLC (using Windows), and as far as I can tell the best solution is to use Media Player Classic or Windows Media Player instead. VLC has a lot of other problems and really should not be your first choice in video players.

so is this the OVA or the Movie? There are two versions of the anime. The Jap only is the movie version, the eng one is the OVA.

Ever since I first got hooked to anime from Robotech anything Macross I eat up and indulge in still to this day. It is truly one of those things you can always enjoy watching obsessively or otherwise.

One of the first shows I ever watched, it's fantastic. Definitely a gateway anime into other stuff. If you liked this, Macross Zero is also quite good.
