I liked it, I would have liked it better if it were in Japanese.I agree, Whats with the Chinese doing this to me? i've grown up with english subs on jap Audio and have picked up alot of the words and to suddenly listen to chinese has raped my brain.

i forogt to how bad the movie was and d/loaded it to watch again... i guess the race scenes were pretty gd... still prefer the series tho...
btw i think the audio description shld be CANTONESE instead of CHINESE... i was surprised when they started speaking canto... fortunately i understand canto so at least d/loading the HD ver wasn't a complete waste...

Story got a little bit twisted comparing to the anime and it was weird to hear them talking in chinese. The story needed to be twisted to fit it into a single movie. Stuntmen driving skills were pretty average (says the guy who just got his driving licence). I really liked how Takumi was played. It was very different from the anime, but I liked the idea of him being bored while taking over GT-R in AE86 Generally the movie was quite fun to watch and I think they should make a sequel, which continues the story.

There were no stunt doubles. Reference? I have the DVD, it's in Bonus Features. They crashed the cars so many times, there are NO stunt doubles. That's right, Jay Chou drifted an 86, but not just one, MANY of them.
