Lamune [MDC]  

Best anime.. Best ending.. The story is all about "Happy". That's why I like it...
not like other anime ~~ always sad and horrible ending  :'-(

I thoroughly enjoyed this series it was a very good and refreshing show and very touching.  

This show is great,i reccomend it to anyone who like's real romance anime,it had everything i was expecting to see in a romance anime,and it distantly reminded me of Ai Yori Aoshi. In short if you are looking for a real romance anime this is what you need.

Much obliged for the upload. Just finished the series and I recommend this to anyone who likes any romance anime. The music is well done and quite good. From what I heard, a lot of instrumental music was playing throughout the series, especially the last episode which was a good listen. All in all, great anime (daily/slice of life), awesome music/instrumental, worth the watch (if you're into this genre of anime) and will continue to seed. :]

i enjoyed Lamune very much, its a warm and nice series. you wont find anything extra amazing, no extreme effects no killer graphic or one of kind plot with so many twists you lost count of and an ending that even Sherlock Holmes himself wouldnt anicipate. no, you wont find all that...
but what you will find is a regular heartwarming romantic plot showing just a regular life of regular peaple spiced with a tiny bit of drama. this regularity i mention makes it a rare piece of history as there are no such positions in todays anime world. from what i see its a dying anime breed.
if you are looking for action packed series you will be bored to death on this one, however if you have shattered nerves or being a little under the weather and feel like lacking some inner tranquility it would be wise to recall this title and come back for it.
for me it was a great thing to watch especially after somewhat depressing but very well done 'true tears'. overall surely recommend!

so i keep hearing that this is a feel good happy simple anime. I could use that right now actually, but one thing. Ive seen a lot of shows with shitty endings. Does this actually have a solid conclusion to it? Im really tired of non endings or poorly done ones

in my opinion, this one does not have a "shitty" ending. i would go for it

I love this series. It's like a better Tonagura! except without all the frantic women-chasing.
For some reason, the Lamune I have burned on DVD is over 4 GB and this one isn't.... strange.

Yay!, no one dies, disappears or has gotten ax crazy.

IF... and I mean IF I were forced to find something, ANYTHING at all to complain about in this story, it would have to be that the animation its self is on the low-budget end. That's only IF I were forced to find something to complain about.
This is quite simply one of the sweetest, endearing, unobtrusive, honest, and sentimental anime I've seen in a long long long time. My "Long List" of Anime I've seen in the last 2 decades is... well... long. My "Short List" of Anime I'd recommend to ANYONE numbers fewer than the fingers on both hands... but it just got one story longer.
"Lamune" is right up in there, folks. You quite literally cannot go wrong with this anime.

Hmm, interesting. It's so highly regarded, yet I found the series to be really slow and boring. Perhaps it picks up after the three episodes I've watched, but even at 2x playback speed it felt a bit sluggish to me.
