Uhh, I have to get this. The live action movie is awesome (maybe the sickest s..t I've ever seen). I hope the manga is as great as the movie.

i thought it was pretty stupid lol. the gore didn't bother me, thats not it. but, heh im not a fan of horror movies or any of that. it's probably because the gore didn't bother me that i saw through all that and in reality, there isn't much there except some really stupid story.

Not neccesarily; as someone repulsed by "gore flicks" and horor films, I found this to be an absolute masterpiece, once psychology major even went so far as to suggest it as "required reading" for students. For those of you who look for pure shock-value, check out the Miike film; which omits most of the deeper psychological aspects of this manga and instead focuses more on the shock.

One of my fav, mangas. definitly worth reading if you like your stuff brutal, but still with a great story and intressting characters.

I liked his other series voyeurs inc. it was a rather bizarre look at what we do behind closed doors.
he also had a one volume story called voyeur which is the back story to voyeurs inc.
