So does anyone have a good quality of the First Saint Seiya main arc (Beginning with the Galactic tournament all the way to the end of the sanctuary battle of the 12 temples) with good english subs? The one I have is a VHS rip with mediocre quality.
I'd love to have the first arc as it still is my favorite. I found the elysion chapter to be especially disappointing

AFAIK there's is no better version out there. In fact i think there isn't a good version at all. No group as subbed the complete TV series as of yet. BTW I agree with you, the Elysion chapter was a big disappointment to me too. Very poor done art...

April 11th 2009 (3 years and 1 month and 6 days)So did I. Just for the record, to me an anime arc or movie that is not based on written published manga is called "FILLER" (one other way to put it is gaiden or side story).
I mean "filler" not in the sense of something that is created to give time to the manga to progress whille the anime is running as in some anime series filler but in the sense of something that is created by a studio just to make money without or with little input from the original mangaka.
But I could be wrong anyways...
