lixiaochen: Please use an MD5 checksum tool to verify the file has the hash F0CE6D0731B8FD51E8974FBC654B58C5. If it has not, your file is indeed corrupt. If it has the correct hash your playback environment is corrupt.

How do you use the md5 exactly? 
get yourself a program to check md5s, like rapidcrc, put the md5 file in the folder with the files you want to check an load+check it in the md5 check program.

Is the first ep supposed to be 21:07 long and cut off in mid-sentence at the end (Lelouch saying, "That's why...[end]")? That's what I'm seeing, seems a bit odd...

i downloaded Code Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch | Lelouch of the Rebellion S01 [gg-THORA] and almost all of them seem corrupted in the video. for example it plays the beginning and when its suppose to start the opening theme it plays the beginning again, but then without sound..but if i fast forward it, it plays wherever i drop it, but than again it starts from the beginning..Is this happening to any one else?? i heard to check the anime to use a program like rapidcrc, and something about md5s, and also something about hash F0CE6D0731B8FD51E8974FBC654B58C5. but i have NO IDEA what all these terms mean..in things like this im completely ignorant...so if any one know how to do this and if possible to fix the file..please help me! :'-(

use a proper player that either supports ordered chapters (on windows, everything using haali media splitter) or properly discards that information and just plays on.

I'm on Ubuntu. Vlc and Mplayer don't work, but xine works great.
To install, copy this into the terminal:
sudo apt-get install xine-ui

Fourth time rewatching code geass. Didn't realize there was a widescreen version until i stumbled upon this. Its like a whole new anime. This is great.
