the problem is that you are using VLC. seriously, this "issue" came up at least 15 times in the comments.VLC does not support ordered chapters.

vlc supports ordered chapters (I knew it!!!).
The problem is that usually with ordered chapters comes segmented linking...

if you had bothered to read the complete thread you linked you would've noticed that what is commonly themed as ordered chapters in the fansub scene is the creation of a virtual timeline of episode+op/ed via segment linking - which plain and simple VLC does not properly support and instead loops back to the start at the splice-in point.
not that quoting Daiz as a credible source in the first place isn't a major fail

Using CCCP, and I can't get the subtitles to display. Any help would be appreciated...
EDIT: Never mind, DirectVobSub fixed the problem. Apparently it's a common problem with MKV files and CCCP.

anyway I guess DLing it one more time wont hurt. so would this work correctly with KMplayer? panicinduced
