I thought this was for little kids at first the way it starts.  Little did I know...

Definitely NOT for children!  Rape with a test-tube (obscured in silhouette, but...  Ugghh!)

To think that I discovered this series this week and wanted to download it but could not find it anywhere. Torrents are dead, nothing on IRC and it wasn't here on BakaBT due to licensing. Had to hunt for it on a DDL site and download episode by episode  :-(

Anyway thanks to that I am seeding right now  :-)

Grab some popcorns and watch this with the younglins, you'll know right from the heartwarming OP that this is a family show

Cant say many good things about this one, Looked to be a promising cutesie/horror anime but didn't turn out.

The plot played out like it was trying to go in alot of different directions but didn't really succeed  in any one it tryed to go with, unless you call

My rating:

Plot: 3
Animation: 4
Sound / VA: 5

Overall: 4 (bumped up one point for weirdness/shock value)

cleankoji: while I agree it lacks some degree of plot and specially ending, one must be warned that this anime adaptation DID NOT COVER THE FULL EXTENT OF THE MANGA, if much half of it.

All unanswered questions on the anime are present in the manga. The anime ending is not the manga ending, there is much to come to answer lots of questions raised, like the other "dragonets" and what are all of that anyway. In the end, it's quite interesting (do not read if you hope to see a second season ~ unlikelly ~ or check the manga):

It's really an awesome plot, shame it was never finished on anime.

According to AniDB Animecha released DVD version. Maybe someone has it.
I have it. Unfortunately, video quality in AM's release isn't much better than in this one, and the quality of English dub is also far from perfect :(.

I can support this.

I downloaded both this hardsubbed version and the DVD rips with the intention of OCRing Triad&AonE's subs and then muxing them into the DVD rip's video, but the resolution of them is actually lower and the bitrate isn't really any higher anyway. Subjective video quality has no improvement either, so I don't really think it's worth it.

Basically, despite bad video quality, this is the best release you are going to find, unless someone gets the actual DVDs and makes new encodes themselves.

...which has happened. There's an anon torrent floating around, decent encodes, dual audio. Search for e.g. Narutaru_-_01_[08DC06B1].mkv
