so agree with kouhei07, why do the translator keep second guessing himself? we know translating is hard, but does he have to tell us by putting words all over the screen that you hardly have time to read?

I don't think it's the translator's fault. Those comments in the curly brackets are for proofreaders and not meant to be seen. They probably were left in by mistake upon conversion from ASS to srt.

Just played part of episode 16 in smplayer and MPC-HC and the latter didn't show any of those TL comments.
