I'm having the hardest time with watching this anime. it'll download fine and the picture will come up crystal clear, unfortunately, no english subtitles. any help or clear enough advice for someone with no computer skills would be great. tanstaafl9

For questions like this, you REALLY should mention what media player you're using....
But I'll guess CCCP and the version of Media Player Classic-HC that comes with it.
Right-click on the video (after it starts) and slide through the Navigate menu to the Subtitle Language menu, and make sure 'No subtitles' is not the option selected. Or you can use the 'Navigate' menu at the top of the window if you have that visible.
(MPC sometimes defaults to 'No subtitles' if the actual subtitle track isn't named properly.)
And if your unknown media player is not MPC, then do whhatever you do in that to select a subtitle track.
