Really surprised me...it was a good watch, even if it is one of those anime where you end up frustrated because of the ending / lack of information.

Still, it touched my heart and I still listen to the intro and ending pretty often.

I downloaded this ages ago, and I still can't bring myself to watch it. My friends all tell me it's good, but from the bits I've learned from what happened later, it just sounds way too depressing for me.

Bokurano, a story about 15 kids who just happened to find a unknown area that could change their life. From what I've seen on the first episode it has abit of an atmosphere like Gantz but I guess you can see with much more meaning. I can't say much right now, but I'm a huge fan of Gantz and it's a definite that thier so I'm gonna enjoy this anime.

I'll be re watching this series for years to come. There were a a few episodes that really stuck out. They were probably some of the most depressing in this series, but they really made this series worth watching.

The OST is just too great for words, but am I the only one that actually pays attention to the complete soundtrack not just the op/ed songs. To me they aren't enough to stand on their own. Anyway, this series needs a US release so badly. 10/10 for me.

plus, real robot series are so rare.

Ugh, that's what I get. I'm on the 15th episode and I don't really want to keep stabbing myself with all this.  :'-( I think that I'll stay away from depressing stuff like this in the future. I prefer shows that at least end on a lighter note.

The subtitles aren't the best. Signs, cell phone messages and other things with japanese text on screen are not translated. A few are actually important, like the report on episode 14 and the cell phone message in episode... 6 or 7.

Mentioned many many times and why things are the way they are. That's what many old pages of comments are there for.

You shouldn't keep yourself from watching this just because of the tragedy-tag. This is really good. One of my favorite shows.  :-)

I agree. It may be tragic, but this is one of the best I've ever seen. Well developed plot, a full ending, and a great music score. I was so drawn into it that I went full otaku and watched it in one sitting! Thanks for this upload!

I'm watching again for the second time. I can't get over how philosophically deep it is on so many levels. Of all the animes that have laid claim, this is the true successor to Evangelion. Like Evangelion, it's a mindf*ck. And like Evangelion, you may get more out of it than what's in the story itself. A wholly under-appreciated gem. Definitely in my top five favs!   :smart: :hmmm:

And the opening and closing themes, on top of being fantastic, actually relate directly to the story. You can't beat that.

it is :) - but its a very good anime - very mature themes (not necessarily visuals)..  I loved every minute of it. Especially all moral implications since they are children.
