Those actually are the official patches, there is just a attachment file size limit. Which is why they were broken up on bakabt like they were. If you extract them all into the same folder they are exactly the same as the ones on the coalgirls site.
And you might want to be more specific on which files were unnecessarily patched.
1-25 all had to be patched, some with subtitle changes (15-25) and some with just fonts added (1-14, OP2, ED2).
If you don't believe me, here is a test. If you installed the MrsReaves font already posted on the coalgirls site remove it from your windows font folder and then watch the episodes. You will immediately notice that as soon as you get to the OP/ED of every file that the fonts are incorrect. The only files that weren't affected by the issues were episode 26 and OP1/ED1.

The OP/ED files seem to be not needed, since the OP/ED was never cut from the original files. I only have the episodes, not the external OP/ED files, yet when I play an episode, the OP/ED is there, part of the episode file. So I dl'd the OP/ED files to see if I was missing anything, and they are the exact same thing as I've been seeing in every episode. So are they really needed as part of the torrent?

The separate files don't have any actual bearing on the release and you don't need them, they're just considered extras. Some people like them, some people don't. I guess it would have been better if they had been named as such, but what can ya do?

is this anime is a freeleech..? Obviously not. Can you see the green "[F]" icon next to the torrent title? Is it 1080p? Is it <100MB? Is it an Artbook or a Music Video? NO! Hence, it's not Freeleech.
