I believe there was a volume release as well. You might want to mention these are from the Getter Robo Saga Anthology (2 volumes rather than 5).

are those the original archives as released by scanlator? No, I organized them so they would be up to BakaBT standards, but all the origanal files are the same (name and all) as when they where scanned.

Volume 1 was a single archive, whereas the FAQ suggested to upload individual chapters. So in order to maintain file order, I renamed them all in the same manner.

A link to the other Getter Robo (and Shin Getter) titles available on BakaBT would be a nice addition.
Unfortunately I can't think of a good search strong that doesn't also return all the titles subbed by Shin-Getter, so you might have to actually link each title manually.
There's another manga, a movie, a series, and two ovas.
Just a thought. This is one of the extras about BBT that I find really useful.

We do not recommend dividing into chapters. Infact if the scanner has released a batch volume then we would prefer that. Looking into Dynamic Pro Scanlations I see two volume batches named:
[Getter-Robo] Getter Robo Saga - Getter Robo Volume 1.rar
[Getter-Robo] Getter Robo Saga - Getter Robo Volume 2.rar
It would be preferred if you swapped the files to these two batch files. You can find them by clicking on 'Getter Robo (Complete)' under projects on Getter Robo (Dynamic Pro Scanlations) website.

Is the story supposed to be taken serious or what? I'm 200 pages into the first volume and I'm laughing every time they try to draw a serious situation. The whole series, story and drawing just feels too lame for me. It's like a bad parody of Transformers combined with the Power Rangers, or something. Everything is over the top all the time so nothing can be taken serious.
For example: three lame small "airplanes" combine into an even lamer (but bigger) "robot" that is somehow controlled flawlessly by one man with a steering wheel... But the highlight of it all is that the robot takes out a cape(!!) when it is going to fly through the sky, like superman! And that very same cape is contracted within a millisecond when hitting the surface of the water. Oh, and the enemies are evil stupid reptiles from a distant past who only now has decided to retake the Earth, just when humanity has had it's biggest technological advances in thousands of years...
Okey, this is an old series and like old zombie movies you can't help yourself but laugh at the sheer lameness of it, but that kind of lameness in a manga makes it impossible for me to enjoy reading it. I'll just hope that someone finds it good enough to warrant a full readthrough.

Is the story supposed to be taken serious or what? No. It's a super robot manga, not frigging English literature.

Also, NO, you're not supposed to take it seriously. It's frigging entertainment. You're supposed to have fun.

The true masterpieces of our time.
In 35 years, no-one will remember those, but Getter Robo is enduring (and actually has better characterization, to boot). Thank you for this upload.

Yet another person who doesn't understand the concept of a "Super Robot". "Over the top" mecha like Getter was what defined the mecha genre in the 1970s before stuff like Gundam came along. You could even say that, without the existence of the iconic Super Robots in the 1970s, more "serious" mecha series like Gundam and Macross wouldn't exist.
And no, Getter doesn't automatically become a "bad parody of Transformers combined with the Power Rangers" just because you saw Transformers and Power Rangers first.
