Yousei-raws are more transparent encode(not filtered), with noticeable difference in quality in some dark scenes, but the drawback is the double size.Oh, thanks! I'll get that then.

does this version have blurbs to explain stuff like the Rumbel releases did? just seems like a lot of the humor would be lost on a western audience without them.

This show reminds me of Urusei Yatsura with its randomness. Zura is hilarious to me. I actually get his horrible jokes haha.

I did a fast google search about .ass files and from what I understood they are some sort of sub files, but if I delete them will the episodes still have subs??! Sorry if my question is a little bit (or a lot) noobie.

Sub files come as muxed in the mkv container or external files.
Here it's only external files (.ass).
