I always find it weird how many animes about high school aged characters are labeled Seinen. Not saying that it's impossible for an anime with young characters to be intended for adults, but it's seems peculiar how few animes are actually about young adults. It's like some warped nostalgia for high school that the entire industry has.

Just a question. What's the chronological play order?
Anidb says Ep 1 plays after Ep 12, but the tittle of that episode would suggest after Ep 13.

Episode 1 did indeed air first and put off a number of viewers because it was an omake episode of sorts with all the characters (They are introduced gradually). I personally recommend you watch it after Ep 12.

OK, thanks a lot.

The manga was published in shonen magazines, (Monthly Gangan Wing, Monthly Gangan Joker) and aniDB list it as a shonen series. I guess it is just wrong tag here.

It's a pity that this series and its sequel didn't draw more attention from the fansubbers, it's really nice. Recommended.

so what does the diary say in ep 04?  i guess thsi version leaves it out too =P  Im not really clear why BBT took shinji over SFW when Shinji left out text translation. Thats a no no in my book. I noticed the video quality seemed better, but youd think a group lifting the subs wouldnt miss something important like that

Man, I searched all the web and did not find a translation, so I got to get my near non-existent skills up and translate it myself ...

most online translation tools failed because it has some old-style/honorific japanese on it. The fact that the cafe is named "ark" sent all those online tools skyrocketing with weird translations lol

なにかあって if something happens
はなればなれになったときは and we get separated
方舟でお互ひおちあひませう let's meet at the ark (the cafe)

おいよ yes!
お待たせ have I kept you waiting?

I'm pretty sure SHAFT have not made a Blu-ray release of this series (yet, they may do in the future) and since this is a DVD rip I would assume this version is as uncensored as any version ever will be.

Will someone PLEASE pass the goddamned salt?   I keep asking for it in every episode and everyone keeps ignoring me!   There's some hot-looking chicks working here, but the service is terrible!   What's a guy gotta do for some freakin' salt????   :-/

Isn't that the truth. I'm starting to get sick of High School animes, but they seem to constantly pour out with no indication of stopping. How annoying.

Episode 9 is totally corrupted. Someone should fix it or take this submission down, because that episode does not play right. Several spots will end the playback.  :-O

Firstly you should be more specific and give timestamps and the software you are using. Secondly, it plays fine for me with CCCP (even not the latest one), so from my point of view the ep is fine and there is a problem on your end.

I'm having just a little trouble figuring out just what the hell it is I'm watching...  Shaft has never missed one for me... and I'm disinclined to think this might be the first... but I am SO confused! lol.
:-/ :?:

Edit:
...and they didn't miss this one. Once again, SHAFT has shown me why they should be considered among the premier animation studios, not just in Japan, but world wide. This is something else.
