Replace. We're going to go through, re-encode, re-edit and essentially completely redo the show, so there's no point making patches.

If it's a complete re-encode, I do hope there is a sufficient comparison with the S1 torrents which are already available, such as the v2 of CGi's original Clannad, Doki, and Thora, rather than a simple swap.

And Kirsten, no, I disagree. The best release the staff considers the best to approve WILL be approved. Any lesser then the best they pick and my standards of BakaBT go out the window. Along with my respect. End of that.

Good stuff. I plan to re-encode Doki's season 1 of clannad anyway, to remove the banding, etc, general improvements, so will be interesting.

Annnd everyone can shut up about their petty squabbling about bias and fansub competition. Go argue about it in IRC if you are THAT interested. I don't give a shit who does which release so how about instead of complaining, provide factual evidence and proof that yours is better than everyone else's in the forums hmmm?
Even with Chaos-MII not doing it you were still going to have to prove yourself better than at least 3 other groups and as far as I can tell... most of you are going to but using the exact same subs. IMO oversubbed show is oversubbed. I am tempted to grant CGi and delete/ignore all other comments/offers/threads on this show forever now that you have all pissed me off this much, Southrop included. Might as well approve the only group that doesn't give a shit if their encodes are better than someone elses or not.
