@ jackoneill - Yes.  That is probably my image compression of a screen capture without a smoothing filter.  The captured image was 720x480 and I re-sized to 640x480 without further filtering.  I will find better tools and put better screenshots up.

When I try to view the screenshots the "don't hotlink to Bakashots" image comes up. Please fix this!

Erm, I used the BakaBT's automatic image transfer utility to transfer images to Bakashots and automatically fix the links.
It works fine for me, and if a BakaBT torrent description can't hotlink to BakaBT's Bakashots, then who can it hotlink to?
I suggest PM'ing one of BakaBT's staff who might be able to sort this out, or to direct me to make specific changes (which I would happily make).

I missed this, somehow. Screenshots need to be in display resolution. If the video is anamorphic, the screenshots need to reflect this.

Yes, this is one of those things that I'm trying to figure out.
I'm using MPC for screen captures, but MPC captures storage aspect rather than display aspect.
I am using an image manipulation tool for resizing captured images to display aspect, as specified in the Wiki.
However, I have been using Irfanview (I must guiltily admit) and the results haven't been great.
This step has me a bit confused, as using an image processing tool won't provide an accurate representation of a codec rendered image.
And the choice of whether to scale a dimension up or scale the other dimension down has a direct impact on the final result.
I dunno.  Suggestions and recommendations are appreciated.

I will find the right tools, and fix resized captures for all of my torrents.
The Wiki recommends Gimp and Photoshop.  I've neither.  I'll fix that immediately.
spline36resize in AviSynth has also been suggested.  I'll try to figure that one out as well.

Ok, after taking a look at the video myself I see what you're talking about. The display resolution is 640x480. 720x480 anamorphic means that it's shrunk down, rather than stretched out. That's the part I was confused on.

Sounds good, surdumil. I'll leave you to making new screenshots using the information you've researched on the wiki.

Wonderful anime and story.
The ending, the music, the visual metaphors
everything worked perfectly.  :-D
