I suggest using FFDShow with this release since it has the HQ YV12 to RGB conversion if you are say using CoreAVC instead.

The screencaps suffer heavily from chroma downsampling artifacts, esp. the Figmentos one... For screens liek this, with a lot of red-black lines&detail, I'd suggest using ffdshow's grab function (make sure the HQ YV12 to RGB conversion is enabled). Normally the lousy chroma upsampling players like vlc/mpc/mplayer do when saving screenshots isn't very noticeable, but this kind of content reveals the nearest neighbor scaling...I suggest using FFDShow with this release since it has the HQ YV12 to RGB conversion if you are say using CoreAVC instead.

Great series, check it out! Artwork took about an episode to get used to, but all in all a great anime!
