Add video bitrate, please. Keywords Seinen, XEBEC, and KATO Takao can be added too.

Just out of curiosity, is there a point in adding the video bitrate if it's CRF? 18.0 won't actually mean anything to anyone.

Consistency. That argument has been brought up before, and though it's relevancy as a general measure of video quality may be lower in some cases than others, it's still a piece of information we'd like to have included, regardless.

You can list the video bitrate as a range, rather than average, if you want.

Thanks for doing this DmonHiro. Can we get a patch for the v2's?

Bitrate as in the average Kbps. In your case for this, just put ~2200 Kbps or something like that. Considering 720p files range hugely in this respect (I've seen as high as 5000 Kbps and as low as 1000 Kbps), it gives people some idea of what to expect in terms of hardware requirements not to mention people usually like having such details. Yeah CRF 18 doesn't mean much, but ~2200 Kbps tells something of a story.

A compressed video remains a compressed video... Unless you don't know what CRF does, which would surprise me, I don't see a harm in giving an average bitrate... easily calculable / found. What people want is the average bitrate, not how the file was encoded.
After looking at a few of the files, it averages at 2500ish. It's very important to know this since I won't download an anime with a 5000kpbs as my laptop simply can't handle it. (Simple-looking animes with 5000kpbs exist.... they're completely worthless but they do exist lol)

Pardon my rudeness, but your post simply looks like a way for you to flaunt knowledge superiority without giving it a single thought.

For curious people confused about this, in a nutshell, CRF works like a better VBR, optimizing image by image depending on "the amount of action/moving particles" within each, a scene with less action will get a lower bitrate, while action heavy ones will be given a higher one. Big difference would be that encoding in CRF (18 in this case) gives no choice to the encoder of the file's size.

Finally, eere we to encode the same video in VBR/CBR while asking for 2400-2500 kpbs... we'd get the same file size.

Not a big deal, but we're not done with the show yet. So 1-13 for it being our subs is not actually right.
