The Ra-Calium subs could be used with the Kuuchan rip, but a little timeshifting would be needed in that case.Is that a project you'd be willing to undertake?

along time , we are lucky that there are US subs available for the first - the rest are all HK subs ie Chinese to engrish translations so alot of clean up is needed on those ( not srue how thats going ) but what i do konw is macross has been kind enough to retime the scripts of S1 for use with the french masters once the files on this torrent are swapped then it will most likely get apprvoed but other wise i have no ETA on the 2nd half and im not srue anybody else dos im pretty pleased that we at least have a part one to work with tho - hats off to everyone working on this project

Is this anime like the live action film? It had three stories and was done from a cat's perspective, or somehow the cat met this family and moved on. It was a long time ago that I saw it. I'm just curious if this is an anime adaption of that film.

It's an anime based on Tsukasa Hojo's manga of the same name.

City Hunter was kind of a spiritual successor to it, same creator, etc. It's just more awesome action with really hot chicks in the same vein of City Hunter, so I'm sure it's awesome. 
Hope this project gets finished, I thought I'd never get to see the second half of this series.
