Lossy FLAC? I thought FLAC was a Lossless codec. But as its audio depth 16bit which might've caused losses, I've removed the tag, until some one can tell me for sure that its lossless.

I asked Tormaid on IRC, and he confirmed it was indeed because THORA converted from 24-bit to 16-bit.

.
If the original audio source is in 16-bit and that is compressed losslessly into FLAC, then it is lossless (no data/information for the audio is thrown away during encoding). If the original audio source is 24-bit and it is compressed to FLAC and remains 24-bit, that also is lossless compression.
However, if 24-bit audio is down-sampled to 16-bit audio and that 16-bit stream is then compressed into FLAC ... it is still a FLAC container, but it is no longer lossless. Make sense ..?
It's similar to the people who get an *.mp3 file, then convert it to a *.wav and then compress that *.wav into FLAC. You end up with a FLAC file, but a portion of the audio was already thrown out during compression to *.mp3 format and can never be recovered.

Thanks for the upload. I liked Shinkai Makoto's 5 Centimeters Per Second, The Place Promised in Our Early Days and Voices of a Distant Star so I think this one will be good too.

Hello everyone, I can't see the movie. When I start it with Windows Media Player (last codec from K-Lite Codec Pack), the screen stays black
Any idea ?

Since you already have the latest version of K-Lite Codec Pack, just using MPC-HC should work.
